Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has said that many relationships these days depend on what one partner can gain financially from the other.

He appeared as a guest on the latest episode of i-D Meets.

He said his favorite lyrics from his debut album “Rave & Roses” are “money is not a source of income” because it comes from his experience.

Rema said, "My favorite line in my album [is] 'Love is not a source of income'. This comes from my real life experience. A lot of relationships in our new generation are all about earnings . »

He added, "It's painful that I can't really define love. You have to live your own version. I haven't lived my version. I'm waiting for it though."
