Australian all-rounder Perry, 33, took figures of 6-15 from four overs for Royal Challengers Bangalore in a seven-wicket win over the Indians of Mumbai.

Perry's six wickets saw Mumbai bowled out for 113 to Delhi, who Bangalore chased down with five overs to spare.

Perry was also the top scorer with the bat for Bangalore with 40 runs off 38 balls as they finished 115-3.

The Bangalore star also became the opener of men's or women's cricket to score 100 runs and record six wickets in all three formats of the game.

Bating , Mumbai Indians were sitting comfortably on 65-1 before Perry's burst of wickets sent their batting line-up up from number two to seventh.
