Peter Kay announces his return to stand-up during I'm A Celebrity

Comedian Peter Kay has announced his return to stand-up comedy with his first shot e live at 12.

The 49-year-old has been largely out of the spotlight since canceling his 2017 tour due to "family circumstances unforeseen events".

Announcing her new concert dates, Kay said, "It's nice to get back to what I love doing best, the stand -up."

His return was announced during a commercial break at the launch of the series I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of 'here!

DJ Chris Moyles, rugby player Mike Tindall and singer Boy George were all seen entering the jungle during the episode of opening on Sunday, but former Health Secretary Matt Hancock won't appear until later in the series.

Comedian Peter Kay has announced his return to stand-up comedy with his first shot e live at 12.
