Police go after Queen's College guard killers

Suspected armed robbers invaded Queens College in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state, on Saturday, killing a security guard in a raid on the premises.

The sad incident happened in the early hours of Saturday at the college premises in Apata, in the Ido local government area of ​​the state.

Our correspondent gathered that the alleged thieves, who were armed with sophisticated weapons, invaded the premises around 1am.

Eyewitnesses say security guards tried to resist the armed robbers but were unable to get the bandits' fireworks going as one was shot dead by bullets.

When contacted, state police public relations officer Adewale Osifeso confirmed the killings, saying investigations were still ongoing to apprehend the perpetrators. crime and bring them to justice.
