SAG-AFTRA issues strike rules with walkout to begin at midnight

As SAG-AFTRA prepares to strike tonight at midnight and begin picketing Outside the studio doors on Friday morning, the guild sent members its strike rules, which direct them to "cease rendering all services and performing all work" covered by TV/theater contracts.

The "strike notice and order" also states that members "shall not cross the lines of SAG-AFTRA picketing, ""shall direct its agent and/or other representatives to cease conducting negotiations on its behalf with studios, broadcasters and networks for Covered Services" and "shall notify SAG-AFTRA AFTRA of any strike-breaking activity".
