Serie A pushes international expansion with Abu Dhabi office to follow New York opener

November 18 – Italian Serie A will open a UAE office in Abu Dhabi in January 2023 with the launch of Lega Serie A subsidiary Mena FZ-LLC.

The presence in the United Arab Emirates follows the opening of an office in New York as the league continues its international expansion plans.

The Abu Dhabi office will oversee the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region and will be led by Alfonso De Stefano, coordinating with the Serie A marketing and commercial office, and defining common strategies for Serie A in the region.
