Sevilla go after Pochettino
According to a recent report from The Athletic, Sevilla have been in contact with Mauricio Pochettino in recent days.
The belief is that with growing pressure on Julien Lopetegui, the Spaniards are looking into the possibility of sacking him - and they want to be ready to implement his replacement almost immediately.
Ironically, this would be sort of the reverse of what happened when Pochettino himself was shown the door at Tottenham to make way for Jose Mourinho.
Sevilla, as we all know, have a great pedigree, and they also have all the potential in the world to cause upsets this season.
To the same extent, Pochettino is hungry to prove that he can continue to find success after his tenure at PSG.
The Argentine is also believed to be catching England's attention, but given all the big jobs are currently taken, we can't imagine it's something he'll nurture for the moment.
