"Because of this experience, we were able to build on it and coordinate relationships. Second, the government is focused and working day and night with security agencies to ensure that there is respect for law and order and that there is compliance to a reasonable extent".

"At this time, we are focused on sustaining peace by providing for everyone and all sectors in a way that we understand and cooperate with each other.

"And we give the chance so that as you do to yourself, you do the same to the other person for the purpose of achieving peace and tranquility in the state. That is why Gombe has made a difference and this is where we are."

On the challenge of flooding, Governor Inuwa acknowledged that it is a global problem and a national phenomenon that is felt everywhere.

“Warning, if you speak of flooding from the north, it is either through the tributaries of the rivers, the Niger and the Bénoué, which connect the conference to Lokoja and then descend to the Delta, ending at Bayelsa until to the Atlantic Ocean and its tributaries due to the change in nature and geography. Their siltation, lots of siltation, is the result of poor agricultural practices and deforestation.

“The forest and our farms have now turned and given way to the desert. These are exacerbating the sanitation that is taking place along streams and rivers. is practically a national issue now, you know, global warming and climate change is affecting the whole world, and for that we're strategizing we wouldn't want a repeat of what happened last year repeats itself this year,” he noted.
