The State Security Service (SSS) has arraigned four suspects in a Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, Ogun State for terrorist activities.

Aliu Abubakar, Abubakar Usman, Abubakar Amadu and Adamu Aliu were reportedly arrested on December 9, 2022.

The suspects were arraigned for alleged terrorism and kidnapping in a lawsuit marked MISC/15/2023 between the state and the four suspects.

The attorney stated the motion with a five-paragraph affidavit and pleaded with the court to remand the suspects for 30 days.

The solicitor said their alleged offenses were contrary to sections 2 and 3 of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022.
