Ten Hag identifies three priority signings ahead of deadline after Man Utd seal Antony deal

Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag is hoping to sign four signings before Thursday's transfer deadline, according to reports.

The Red Devils are dangerously nearing the end of the transfer window, with Ten Hag still keen to see the club do a lot more to meet his needs.

Man Utd have brought in Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro so far this summer with Ajax winger Antony expected to be next in line.

The Premier League giants have now reportedly agreed a €100m deal for Antony, with Ajax receiving a fixed fee of €95m with a further €5m in potential add-ons.< /p>

Antony is desperate to join Man Utd and the deal is expected to close soon, while Ten Hag and his recruitment team turn their attention elsewhere.

The Daily Telegraph claims the Red Devils are hoping to bring Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka to Old Trafford before the transfer deadline as they look to compete with David de Gea.

And the Telegraph adds that Man Utd are "considering signing a right-back, midfielder or maybe even another striker before the transfer deadline".

One player whose future is uncertain is Cristiano Ronaldo, with the Portugal international still adamant that he wants to leave the club before the deadline.

After his 1-0 win over Southampton on Saturday, Ten Hag addressed Ronaldo's future, saying: "We played with him. So we want him to stay. That's what we want. I hope."

When asked if he was happy if Man Utd hadn't added to their forward line before the end of the window, Ten Hag replied: "We have Cristiano Ronaldo, we have Anthony Martial , we have Marcus Rashford, so we're fine."

Casemiro signed for Man Utd from Real Madrid on Monday and was only allowed the last ten minutes on the pitch against Southampton - but Ten Hag were delighted to involve him.

"I think it was pretty good for him to see what the Premier League looks like, his different style," said Ten Hag.

"He's played a few games, he's played 90 minutes once, but he's fit, he's had a good pre-season with a lot of training and now we have to get him into a team, to a way to play, and integrate it with his teammates."
