“‘ATM Leaderboard’ is an extremely literal distillation of wealth display impulses,” MSCHF co-founder Daniel Greenberg told CNN. "Thanks to the camera, the ATM keeps a continuous record of each person who uses it and also of each location where it is installed, so we hope that it will have the possibility of moving to more spaces."< /p>

Art Basel seems like the perfect place to get your ATM debut, as it's infamous for its lavish parties and over-the-top artwork often valued in the millions.

The man who currently holds the top spot has an impressive $2.989 million in his bank account, although his name has yet to be identified.

Clips of the installation quickly made the rounds on social media, where many were quick to comment on the mystery man's earnings and wonder why he was carrying so much cash.
