Thugs attack the residence of Atiku ally Lee Maeba in Port Harcourt
On Thursday morning, suspected thugs attacked the Port Harcourt residence of Senator Lee Maeba, a supporter of People's Democratic Party presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.
Sen. Maeba is the Rivers State Coordinator of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council.
The thugs, numbering over 30, reportedly jumped into the compound through the fence and broke the padlock on the gate to enter the premises. Some vehicles in the compound were destroyed in the attack. The security guard reportedly escaped during the attack.
Atiku Abubakar supporters were to hold a stakeholder meeting at the scene before the incident.
