Tracy Anderson travels to Palm Beach; Southern Tide signs first Golf Ambassador

VACATION WORKOUT: Fitness entrepreneur Tracy Anderson, known for training celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Tracee Ellis Ross, is bringing her cult Tracy Anderson Method workout classes to The Colony Palm Beach for the first time this holiday season.

In early summer, The Colony Palm Beach began working with President Tracy Anderson Method, Steven Beltrani, to develop this partnership – both said they believe the brand's missions are synergistic. The Colony Palm Beach also partnered with fitness instructor Isaac Boots earlier this year for a fitness residency. Anderson noted that her brand has "had very strong demand in South Florida" over the years.

As a fitness partner, Anderson's classes will be available at the resort beginning Thursday and will continue until the end of January. Each 90-minute muscle-focused class will feature Anderson's latest choreography and fitness research.

Anderson herself will be giving classes at the resort on December 16-17 and January 20-24, as part of two Vitality Weeks, a special program it periodically offers at select locations. During these two weeks of vitality, Anderson's new sustainable wood-based fitness box MyMode, which includes a range of equipment, and additional programming will be implemented in the classes.

"One of the things that appealed to me the most about this opportunity with The Colony is that the room offers so much space," Anderson explained. "There's something next-level about being able to have a connected fitness room," she said in reference to MyMode.

Through January, $75 Tracy Anderson Method classes will be held twice a day and can accommodate up to 30 people. people. Guests will be able to register for Vitality Week classes and special events at TracyAnderson.com. Although residency at The Colony is temporary, Anderson uses this experience to find out if South Florida might be suitable for a permanent studio.

Under the terms of the agreement, Roy will be the company's clothing partner on and off course and will wear Southern Tide's signature Skipjack logo on all of his polo shirts and sweaters while he performs.

The rookie received his PGA Tour card in August after less than three seasons on the Korn Ferry Tour where he posted four top-10 finishes, including a second at the Wichita Open. This will be his first year on the PGA Tour.
