Tricycle riders, group endorses government candidate Sokoto APC

The Sokoto State Tricycle Association held a solidarity march in support of the party's gubernatorial candidate in the state, Ahmad Sokoto, and other APC candidates in the upcoming elections .

The rally which was organized under the leadership of the union, Sa'adu Asadda, was, according to the president, described as a show of respect and appreciation for what the former governor of the state, the Senator Aliyu Wamakko, subjected them to during his tenure. as Governor of the State.

He said the rally was aimed, among other things, at waking up members of the association to mobilize more support for the victory of the APC in the state.

He recalled that when Wamakko was governor, he brought tricycles to Sokoto State to reduce the restlessness of the youths where many of them benefited from the gesture.

In a related development, another youth group from Gagi C Ward of Sokoto South Local Government had organized a similar rally from Mabera area to Gawon Nama, the residence of Wamakko who is also the leader of the APC in the state.

Speaking in his remarks, the leader of the group, Mallam Kabiru Mabera, assured Wamakko that in Gagi C, APC would ensure more support to APC across the state.

One of the leaders of the association, Abdullahi Mabera, also said in his remarks that the APC in the state is becoming "widely accepted", hence the need to mobilize more support for its emergence.

The candidate for governor of the APC, congratulated the leadership of the associations for the rally.

He explained that, if elected and elected governor of the state, he would provide access roads in the Mabera region for the economic growth of the state.

Wamakko also thanked the two leaders for their efforts to support the APC in the state and called on them to always be careful to protect their permanent voter cards and not allow anyone access to them.< /p>
