Daniel Bwala, a lawyer and spokesman for the presidential campaign organization Atiku/PDP for the 2023 general election, said FCT Minister Nyesom Wike would be expelled from the party at the “opportune time”.< /p>
In an interview with Channels TV on Wednesday, Wike 'dared' the PDP to suspend him from the party, adding that he should be the one to discipline individuals in the party.
Reacting to Wike's statement, Bwala told Channels Television's Politics Today program on Thursday that the party is not really reacting to what Wike says because he is a man who loves drama.
>His words: “The reason we barely react to what he (Wike) says is because he loves drama; everyone knows it.
He further added that the party's "calmness" should not be confused with "weakness".
He said, “Believe me, party quiet is not a weakness. For anyone who listens and sees what he is doing and the party is silent about it, that is not a weakness. The party knows what it is doing.
“When the time comes, he would not only be suspended but expelled. Take this to the bank. »
Bwala also said there was nothing wrong with a PDP member working for an APC-led government.
“There is nothing wrong with a PDP member working in the Tinubu government as long as that decision is made by the party.
“The party can sit down and decide that we have to form a government of national unity.
