'No' Cast Reacts to Craziest Fan Theories, From 'Casadastraphobia' to Mulder & Scully

The probably alien among us Jordan Peele horror film "Nope" remains shrouded in mystery despite a few full trailers and some pretty devious marketing. That means fans can't help but make out the little footage and plot details we have to signify as if they're looking for patterns in the clouds: they're there if you're looking.

In a , cast members Keke Palmer, Brandon Perea, Steven Yeun and Daniel Kaluuya break down some of Reddit's craziest fan theories. Like Steven Yeun on “Jimmy Kimmel,” actors are contractually allowed to say nothing exactly about specific plot points. But that doesn't mean they can't debunk some of the wildest "No" speculation. One theory revolves around "casadastraphobia", the fear of being sucked into the sky, which, according to the trailer, is not entirely off the mark: Palmer's character is seen several occasions getting sucked into the skies by maybe an alien spaceship and then back down. Still no cigar.

After tackling lookalikes in 'Us' and racist body thieves in 'Get Out', Peele said he wanted to write "the great American UFO story" with this film. "I wrote it at a time when we were a bit worried about the future of cinema," Peele told Fandango. "So the first thing I knew was that I wanted to create a show. I wanted to create something that the public should come and see."
