Official trailer of "Enys Men", the mystery horror film by Mark Jenkin

Enys Men Trailer

'Supremely worried' Neon has unveiled the first official US trailer for an indie British horror film titled Enys Men, the latest from the acclaimed Cornish director Mark Jenkin, known for his indie hit Bait from a few years ago. His latest creation premiered at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival in the Directors' Fortnight sidebar, and I was lucky enough to attend the world premiere of it in May. Very mysterious movie. Set in 1973 on an uninhabited island off the coast of Cornwall, a wildlife volunteer's daily sightings of a rare flower slowly turn into a metaphysical journey that forces him and the viewer to s question what is real and what is a nightmare. The film primarily stars Mary Woodvine as a volunteer working on the island, with a small cast including Edward Rowe and Flo Crowe. It's hard to describe this one - it's lo-fi, gritty, quiet horror that's scarier to think about than to watch, using editing and directing tricks to make it unsettling.
