OMG: My Favorite Amazon Laundry Detergent That Smells Like Le Labo Is On Sale

Murasaki PerfumeJasmine, Matcha and Vetiver

Dirty Labs new scent is just as special and complex as their signature scent which I first fell in love with. While I think the Signature scent, which I review below, is perhaps more of a universal crowd pleaser, the Murasaki scent is almost more timeless. It's the more feminine scent of the two and it's simply heavenly as soon as you uncork the container. When my husband smelled it, he said, "It smells European," and I thought he was so right. I consider the Murasaki as the sophisticated perfume and the Signature as the fresh and current perfume. The smaller size of the Murasaki is the only flavor on sale, and honestly, you have nothing to lose by trying both!

Signature ScentMagnolia, Bergamot and Cedar

The brand's signature magnolia, bergamot and cedar scent truly comes from heaven. I can't imagine anyone not falling deeply in love with her. It is literally the smell of luxury. Cedar adds a delicious woodiness that is cut by the clean, fresh scents of citrus and florals. It's subtle but it lasts. As I mentioned before, it smells as upscale, special, and nuanced as a Le Labo perfume. As a girl who lives in Los Angeles, where it's basically the perfume brand of choice, trust me when I say it's comparable. In other words, if you told me it was Le Labo detergent, based on the smell alone, I would say yes, it does.

Clean Ingredients: Honestly, the scent matters the most to me, but it's also a big plus that the formulation is clean. If you're trying to use more clean products, I've heard that laundry detergent is one of the best categories to start with in terms of impact because you wear your clothes washed in detergent all day. Conventional detergents contain lots of toxic chemicals, and they contain non-toxic, bio-based ingredients that are safe for sensitive skin, babies, and pets. It also happens to be cruelty-free, vegan, and hypoallergenic.

It Works: I know laundry detergent is also supposed to clean your clothes, not just make them smell good, and for me, Dirty Labs lives up to that too category. It cleans my clothes as well as the detergents I've used before.

Eco-Friendly: The formula is super concentrated, unlike more traditional detergents, so you can get the same number of loads with a much smaller bottle. Smaller packaging equals a lower carbon footprint, and aluminum bottles can also be recycled endlessly. As someone who is wary of using a small (concentrated) amount of detergent, will my clothes be clean enough? Will they smell good? I can confirm the answers are yes and yes with about a third of the volume of detergent I would use with other brands.
