OpenAI launches ChatGPT Enterprise – 4 times the power of the consumer version

OpenAI, the creators of the artificial intelligence tool ChatGPT, has released ChatGPT Enterprise, a supposedly faster, more secure, and more powerful version of the chatbot for businesses.

The company explained in an August 28 post that ChatGPT Enterprise provides unlimited access to GPT-4 up to twice as fast and can handle 32,000 token popups for input.

Because one token is about 4 characters of English text, the 32000 model can process about 24,000 words of text in a single input, which is about four times more than the standard GPT-4 model.

OpenAI claims that ChatGPT Enterprise also improves the privacy and security standards of GPT-4, as it does not use enterprise data to train its OpenAI models and is compliant with SOC 2, a management standard customer data.

OpenAI said the enterprise product was launched following "unprecedented demand" for ChatGPT products since its November 30 launch, with more than 80% of Fortune 500 companies adopting the tool. AI to some degree, the company explained:
