Oprah says making fun of her weight was a 'national sport'

Oprah Winfrey has spoken about the “shame” she felt after being “ridiculed” about her weight.

Speaking about her weight and obesity in a special, the American television networker and actress said she would "never forget" that it was described as “cobbled, lumpy and downright chunky.” on a magazine cover.

Winfrey, 70, lost a lot of weight on medication and praises weight-loss drugs.

She did not specify which one she uses, however.

Are weight loss injections the answer to obesity?

An Oprah Special: Shame, Blame, and the Weight Loss Revolution , broadcast in the United States on ABC, showed emotional emotion. Winfrey talks about the pain of being humiliated by late-night talk show hosts and tabloids for 25 years.
