Oscar Pistorius could be freed from prison at the end of this month... the former Olympic sprinter is now on parole in South Africa -- 10 years after killing his girlfriend.

A hearing will be held on March 31, according to Pistorius' lawyer, Julian Knight... who added that if parole is granted during the proceedings, the convicted murderer could be released from behind bars the same day.
