Owain Wyn Evans: Wales first for new BBC Radio 2 show
Presenter Owain Wyn Evans to host BB's new morning breakfast show C Radio 2 from Cardiff.
The live show will be Radio 2's first weekday show to leave London.
Owain took over from Vanessa Feltz, who stepped down in July 2022, and he said, "I'm looking forward to helping start the day early, little -Lunch live from Cardiff".
The move is part of the BBC's plans across the UK, which the company says would allow it to "to better reflect, represent and serve all regions of the country".
The program will be broadcast Monday to Friday, 04:00 BST to 06:30.
Owain said: "When I was 13 I asked my parents for a pair of turntables and a mixer at a DJ shop in Llanelli, I never allowed myself to dream that one day I would have my own show on Radio 2."
