Kanye West is persona non grata for Peloton - the exercise company bans his music from any new future classes.

Peloton took a stand on Wednesday in a statement to Pelobuddy..."We take this issue very seriously and can confirm that Peloton has discontinued the use of Kanye West's music on our platform indefinitely. This means that our instructors no longer use his music in any newly created courses and we are not suggesting any courses that include his music in our proactive member recommendations."

They add, "You should know that this is a decision we made immediately after his remarks. Again, thank you for sharing your concerns and thank you for being a member of our Peloton community."

The statement follows Peloton's Alex Toussaint - a popular cycling instructor - saying he would not play Ye's tunes during any of his lessons. He said it Monday during his Hip Hop Ride at 7 p.m. ET...without ever naming the guy.

Toussaint said he does not tolerate hate speech and stands with the Jewish community. He then promised that he would promote a safe space and not play "this artist". It seems his bosses felt that the policy should apply at all levels...and that's a big deal.
