Phillip Schofield's brother 'admitted to sex acts with teenager' to TV star

TV host Phillip Schofield's brother told presenter he had had affairs sexual assault with a teenager, a court heard.

Timothy Schofield, 54, is on trial at Exeter Crown Court charged with 11 sexual offenses against a child, including two of sexual activity with a child.

The civilian police officer, from Bath, allegedly committed the offenses around Bristol between 2016 and 2019.

He reportedly told his brother about the breach in September 2021.

In a written statement read in court on Wednesday, the This Morning presenter said that he had invited his brother to visit him in London after receiving a call from him in an "agitated and upset state".
