A plane was forced to make an emergency landing after a flight attendant suffered a fatal heart attack.
The Gulf Air Airbus A321 passenger plane was flying from Bahrain to France when the tragedy occurred.
The aircraft took off at 10:22 p.m. on November 22 from Bahrain International Airport and was expected to reach Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris approximately six hours after departure.
However, approaching the Iraqi-Turkish border, the plane was diverted to Erbil International Airport in the Kurdistan region when a crew member suffered a heart attack mid-flight .
The airline said the worker was taken to hospital, but was later pronounced dead in Erbil.

Gulf Air said in a statement, seen by: "The national airline expresses its deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the crew member, and confirms that the flight has resumed to Paris as planned. p>
"Gulf Air assures that the safety of its passengers and crew is its top priority, and thanks the passengers on the affected flight for their patience and understanding."
