Prince Harry said "I would like to get my dad back, i wish my brother back" in an interview ahead of the release of his book Spare.

He also says "they have shown no willingness to reconcile", although it is not clear who he is referring to.< /p>

He made the comments during a meeting with ITV's Tom Bradby and also gave an interview to the American television channel CBS.

Buckingham Palace declined to comment.

The two interviews will be broadcast on January 8, two days before the publication of the autobiography.

Speaking to CBS News 60 Minutes reporter Anderson Cooper in a conversation the broadcaster called "explosive", Prince Harry says he was "betrayed" with "briefings and leaks and the spreading of stories against me and my wife".

He said: "The motto of family is "never complain, never explain", but that's just a motto.

"They will feed or have a conversation with a correspondent, and that correspondent will literally be spoon-fed information and write the story, and at the bottom of it, they'll say they contacted Buckingham Palace for comment.
