Putin appears to be limping amid speculation about his health

Another Russian oligarch has mysteriously been found dead after "secretly obtaining the right to live in the UK".

Pro-Vladimir Putin MP and soft drink magnate Nikolay Bortsov was found dead in his home on Sunday.

The 77-year-old multi-millionaire, who held a large stake in Pepsi, is the latest high profile Russian to die after a series of curious deaths.

He is the 40th known person to have been found dead in suspicious circumstances in just over a year.

Bortsov had been sanctioned by the UK for supporting the war in Ukraine.

He had secretly obtained the right to live in Britain, according to data leaked in 2019.

The oligarch - a member of the main pro-Putin United Russia party - was discovered this weekend at his home in the Lipetsk region.

No cause of death has yet been given.

Bortsov was one of Putin's wealthiest MPs and was worth £450 million. He has always denied holding British citizenship.

He is the last Russian character to die since the tyrant's deadly invasion last February.
