Puma returns to Bulgaria with Adidas' CSKA 1948 kit deal

June 16 – Bulgaria's CSKA 1948 have signed a kit deal with German sports equipment maker Puma, in cooperation with Bulgarian retailer Sport Depot.

The contract between the two parties is for three years and sees the club end its partnership with Adidas.

"I am extremely pleased with the partnership between CSKA 1948 and Puma, which would not have been possible without the help of our partners at Sport Depot. CSKA 1948 will play their matches at home and on the European stage with Puma equipment over the next three years,” said CSKA 1948 executive director Dobrin Gyonov.

Sport Depot Deputy Commercial Director Svetoslav Nalbantov also welcomed the new partnership and Puma's growth in Bulgaria, where the brand has been absent in recent seasons.

"On behalf of Sport Depot and Puma Bulgaria, I would like to thank the football club CSKA 1948 for choosing Puma as their partner. We are very happy that after years of absence of Puma from the sports scene in Bulgaria, the brand is returning in the best possible way to our native football, linking up with a top team in our league…
