Queen Elizabeth II: Royal Shakespeare Company will plan a state funeral

The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) has announced that its theater in Stratford-upon-Avon will screen the Queen's state funeral on Monday.

Those wishing to attend are invited from 10:00 a.m. BST before the funeral, which is due to take place at 11:00 a.m.

The screening is expected to end around 1:00 p.m. and the building will then close at 1:30 p.m.

Her Majesty The Queen has been Patron of the RSC since 1961.< /p>

Free tickets for the screening can be reserved on the venue's website or at the box office from Thursday.

Besides the access to the theatrical screening, the theater will be closed on September 19.

All shows and tours booked for the day of the funeral have been canceled out of respect.

Shakespeare's Birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon, Anne Hathaway's Cottage and Shakespeare's New Place will also be closed, along with the Museum Reading Room.
