Jane Doe #3 was present in the courtroom of Superior Court Judge Charlaine Olmedo from Los Angeles last week, as did another former Scientologist Leah Remini. The outspoken critic of the organization led by David Miscavige is embroiled in its own recently launched lawsuit against the Church for harassment. Although often discussed and accused of punishing Masterson's victims and not the actor himself, Scientology was not a defendant in the criminal trial.

The three Jane Does are among those suing Masterson and Scientology in a civil case currently on hold for harassment under the law.
