Rumor has it: Arsenal plan £75m push for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo

Arsenal are reportedly considering a potential £75m bid for Brighton and Hove Albion young midfielder Moises Caicedo.

21-year-old Caicedo has been one of the stars of the Premier League season, starting 18 of Brighton's 19 league appearances to help his side climb to sixth place.

The talented central midfielder already has 28 caps for Ecuador and gained valuable experience at the Qatar World Cup, where he scored against Senegal in the group stage.

Brighton have already turned down some serious offers this month, and while they've reportedly priced Caicedo at nine figures, Arsenal are ready to test how much money they're willing to turn down.

According to Fichajes, Arsenal are determined to add reinforcements before the end of January, and they will see if £75m is enough to land Caicedo away from Brighton.

Metro previously announced that Brighton would hold out for a fee in the region of £100m, having already rebuffed a £50m approach from Chelsea.

Fichajes believe Arsenal are ready to spend more than Chelsea in the pursuit of Caicedo, who puts them in charge if Brighton are ready to move before the transfer window closes.
