Russians' sick New Year's message to Ukraine as drone and missile attacks continue

Sick Russian soldiers scrawled "Happy New Year" on a suicide drone before it was dropped on Kyiv last night.

Celebrations didn't stop Vladimir Putin's war machine this morning as fierce missile strikes heralded the New Year.

Hundreds of Ukrainians braved the bombs as an 11 p.m. curfew was observed in some areas, reveling in the streets as cruel Russian forces tried in vain to lower the morale of the nation.

Kyiv Police Chief Andriy Nebytov shared an image on Telegram of one of the missiles that struck overnight.

A Russian airman had affixed the words "Happy New Year!!!".

Nebytov added: "This debris is not at the front line, where fierce battles are taking place, it is here, on a sports field, where children are playing."

The Ukrainian Air Force said it had dropped 45 Iranian Shahed drones from the sky, with Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko adding that there were no casualties today.

In a video address, Zelensky said that the Russians were destroyed by their deranged leader and that Ukraine 'would not forgive'
