"A bad dream can't ruin everything." Or maybe it can? ? XYZ Films has unveiled an official trailer for an indie horror-thriller titled Presence, marking the feature-length narrative debut from up-and-coming filmmaker Christian Schultz. This premiered at Panic Fest and will be released on VOD in November next month. Two young business partners are invited on a week-long private pleasure trip with a potential investor. At night, Jennifer's dreams begin to bleed into reality as the others realize that Jennifer may have unknowingly brought something sinister on board. What dark secrets is she hiding from them? This stars Jenna Lyng Adams, Dave Davis, Alexandria DeBerry, Major Dodge and Octavio Pisano. Unsurprisingly, the movie doesn't look original, with lots of cliches, topped off with a rich man and a big yacht. Caution.

After leaving New York after a nervous breakdown, Jennifer (Jenna Lyng Adams) is contacted by her best friend with some good news about their joint venture. Within the hour, Jennifer boards a private plane and descends the dock on a billionaire's private yacht. All seems well, except that Jennifer is plagued by violent and disturbing visions. Is her uncontrolled anxiety trying to self-sabotage her once again…or does she have a sinister presence? the Make doc previously, plus a few other shorts. The screenplay is written by Peter Ambrosio and Christian Schultz. Produced by Dave Davis, Isaiah LaBorde, John Paul Summers. This originally premiered at Panic Fest 2022 earlier this year. XYZ Films will launch Schultz's presence in select US theaters + on VOD starting November 17, 2022.
