Spain's WWC team refuses to play until Luis Rubiales is ousted over kissing scandal

Spain's Women's World Cup squad now refuses to take back their costume...until Luis Rubiales resigns over the kiss he placed on Jennifer Hermoso after the team's big win last Sunday.

The entire Championship team issued an ultimatum on Friday morning... saying that in addition to Rubiales, they also wanted to oust other team officials.

The team added that the kiss after Spain's World Cup victory was "unacceptable"... while condemning "behaviours that violated the dignity of women".

The statement came just hours after Rubiales insisted to reporters that he had no intention of resigning over the scandal. During his impassioned speech about staying in his place, he also insisted the kiss was consensual.

Hermoso, however, said in the team statement Friday that she “at no time” consented to the kiss on the lips.
