"I got held up at Immigration yesterday," Joseph began. I was taken to - I guess you could call it - it was more of a dungeon. And I was asked to wait about 20 minutes. And then I was called into this office, where someone asked me, "What are you doing in the United States, sir?" I said, "Well, I'm actually here to meet Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.'”

Joseph said the officer didn't believe him. "And one of his colleagues looked at me, looked at him and said, 'Leave Eddie alone. ""The officer did not know who Joseph was. Audacity!

His colleague informed him. "He's like, 'This is Eddie from Stranger Things." He's like, 'Are you Eddie Munson?' And me was like, 'Sort of.' He said, 'Are you coming back next season?' And I said, 'Uh, I don't know.' And he said, 'You better,' and gave me the passport.” Fortunately, everything Joseph brought passed through customs, including the Hellfire Club t-shirt he brought for Jimmy.

Joseph became an overnight sensation after the Season 4 premiere of Stranger Things. His character, Eddie Munson, is one of Stranger Things's most beloved characters today.
