There are countless things to consider when flying abroad; what to pack, how much to bring with you, which airline to fly with, all of these things can contribute to the stress of your travel experience.

Now experts have suggested that passengers should also consider which day to book their flight.

A new study has found that different days of the week correlate with the customer's travel experience - and found varying degrees of positivity throughout the week.

Research found that the middle of the week is the best time to travel, while Sunday is the worst based on data from the first quarter of 2023.

Researchers at HappyOrNot - the creators of the smiley-face customer feedback machines found in airports - analyzed data from over seven million customer feedback points in 30 countries around the world.

HappyOrNot CEO Miika Mäkitalo said, "We wanted to share our insights into passenger experiences at airports in 2023 so far, to help people prepare for their journeys and help airport operators identify which aspects of the airport experience are most likely to need attention during peak hours.

Research found that people were likely to press green buttons on a Wednesday as the machine found 83.7% positive customer feedback.

Although Sunday probably had a few dissatisfied customers, it had 79.9% positive feeds...
