News has revealed the top 50 best rooftop bars in Europe for 2023, from laid-back beachside boozers to ultra urban cocktail bars -elegant.

The list, compiled by Big 7 Travel, is based on social media user scores and insights from the travel site's editorial team.

First up is a bar that crowns a multi-storey car park in Peckham, London. Second place, meanwhile, is claimed by a Spanish watering hole that serves "mouth-watering" Mediterranean dishes, and third place goes to an "elegant" Northern Lights viewing spot in Reykjavik.

Big 7 Travel says: "There's only one thing you can do when the heat and humidity hit: find the rooftop bar nearest and refresh yourself with a cocktail or two.' Take his advice - and use this list to know where to go.
