The Crown: Friend of Queen says Netflix show 'makes me so angry'

Lady Glenconner, who was a bridesmaid at the Queen's coronation, said the show "makes me so angry".

"The problem is that people, especially in America, believe it completely," she told Woman's Hour on BBC Radio 4.

Netflix has defended the show, saying it "has always been presented as a drama based on historical events".

Lady Glenconner had known the Queen since childhood and was lady-in-waiting to her sister, Princess Margaret, for over 30 years.
