Theophilus London's family say rapper has been missing since July, cops are investigating

Former Kanye West collaborator Theophilus London has disappeared without a trace, according to his family...who are now working hard to find out where he is.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Hip Hop that relatives in London filed a missing person report with the LAPD on Tuesday...and that cops are currently investigating the situation.

According to London's family, the last time the Trinidad and Tobago-born artist was heard from was in July. They said they flew to L.A. this week to file the police report.

"Theo, your dad loves you, son," London's dad said in a statement this week hoping to find the 35-year-old. "We miss you. And all your friends and relatives are looking for you. Wherever you are, send us a signal."

"No matter what we'll come for you son."

The London family described Theophilus -- who was famous for creating Kanye's 'Donda' album -- as 6'2", 175 pounds, with dark brown eyes. Of course, his likeness may be found all over YouTube thanks to the millions of views his music videos have accumulated over the years.

We are told Theo's cousin, Mikhail Noel, leads the rescue team and responds to inquiries and updates.
