These 5 shoe trends are everything, and these 5 must go

I'm what you might call a shoe lover. I love shoes, especially heels. As someone who stopped growing in eighth grade, I've always been petite, so heels have been my best friend since I was 15. I take my shoe game seriously, and while I've admitted to being a lover of heels before, I don't discriminate when it comes to good shoes. Sneakers, flats, sandals, boots, you name it, I'm in it. Shoes are the delicious cherry on top of every outfit and can either kick your look up a notch or totally tank it.

That said, I've seen tons of shoe trends all summer, some were totally hit and some… not so much. There are 5 shoe trends in particular that I can't get enough of and 5 that I'm ready to give up. Trends I personally love are wedge heels, the surprising comeback of sleek wedges, flip flops/thongs, Cinderella inspired heels, and fisherman sandals. While chunky loafers, espadrilles, designer slides, lace-up sandals and sky-high stilettos fell short.
