This little DIY plotter creates labels on tape

Masking tape labels are a must have in any workshop. You scribble what's in a box on the tape and slap it in place. We have all done it. However, Molten Cheese Bear takes this concept in an interesting direction.

As you can see, they made a small plotter that writes directly on the masking tape, using the roll of tape as one of the axes of motion.

So far they've made a few versions. It seems they use a floppy disk carriage as their main head, which I personally find quite endearing. There is something very aesthetic for me in using the old parts for these DIY machines.
