Liz Truss' claims that she will tackle the "woke" public service culture that " strays into anti-Semitism" are "inflammatory" and will be considered "insulting and odious", warned a union leader.

The business secretary Foreign es was lambasted by the head of the FDA, which represents officials, for providing "no evidence of his accusation", which he said "goes further than the usual dog whistle policy" of the leadership election.

It comes after the Truss campaign said it would "change the woke public service culture that strays into anti-Semitism".

In response , FDA Secretary General Dave Penman said, "Conservatives have been in government for over 12 years now, and for most of that time Liz Truss has been a cabinet minister.

"A Prime Minister is also a Minister for the Civil Service, and making such baseless inflammatory accusations illustrates a lack of leadership, which she claims to demonstrate."
