Visit Films has revealed an official trailer for the indie sci-fi comedy titled < em>Aliens Abducted My Parents And Now I Feel A Little Left Out. How's that for a movie name! Did it catch your eye? It just premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival in the festival's "Kids" section, and it's still in the hunt for a distribution deal. Miserable after her family moves to a small town, a young aspiring journalist named Itsy befriends Calvin, her odd space-obsessed neighbor who believes her parents were abducted by aliens, and joins him. on his journey to find them. As a rising journalist, Itsy decides to write an expose, but she discovers a lot more about him. It stars Emma Tremblay, Jacob Buster, Will Forte, Elizabeth Mitchell, Kenneth Cummins and Matt Biedel. I'm curious to see this! I like the trailer, there are some good lines here. I just wonder if they will actually find aliens! I hope the twist isn't that they were just taken by some government organization or something.

Itsy Befriends Calvin in hopes of writing an expose on the oddball for a summer internship in New York, but she soon discovers that the amateur astronaut has a spell of an ordinary-world secret. Calvin believes his parents have been abducted by aliens, and his mission is to find and join them in space.As they strive to uncover the truth, the two aliens maintain a surprising and heartwarming friendship. " Aliens Abducted My Parents And Now I Feel Kinda Left Out is directed by filmmaker Jake Van Wagoner, who previously directed Christmas Time, as well as the "Studio C" series. The screenplay is written by Austin Everett. It just premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival this month. No release date is set yet - stay tuned for more.
