Transfer news LIVE: Arsenal launch new Mudryk offer, Man Utd receive offer, Spurs £39m

Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing RB Leipzig star Josko Gvardiol this summer but may be forced to offload key assets to secure his signature.

The Croatian international signed a new deal with Leipzig in the summer, although that hasn't deterred interest from several Premier League clubs. Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are all keen on the 20-year-old, with speculation over his future growing after his eye-catching World Cup campaign with Croatia.

Reporter Christian Falk reports that Tottenham also hold a strong interest in Gvardiol, but believes Antonio Conte's side could rely on the sale of Harry Kane to fund a bid.

He said: "I think there will be activity this summer and here's the link to the Kane rumours: Tottenham are still very interested in Gvardiol, so Bayern are banking on some movement there , because Tottenham need the money to buy Gvardiol.

"They will have to sell Kane if he does not extend his contract; if they reach an agreement with Bayern, or Real Madrid perhaps, then there will be money for Gvardiol."
