Avril Lavigne looks icy these days...and the flashy new jewelry around her neck is courtesy of her new boyfriend, Tyga.

Eric Mavani, a famous New York jeweler, tells TMZ... Tyga gave Avril the personalized diamond chain on Thursday, and the piece is worth $80,000.

Avril has previously posted selfies displaying the chain and was seen wearing it Thursday night in Los Angeles.

We're told the bling features 50 carats of white diamonds, black diamonds, and pink sapphires. Diversity matters!
