Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua gives hope as Frank Warren makes promising promise

Frank Warren has pledged to complete Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua's deal "quickly" once he receives the documents from AJ. Warren is still negotiating terms for the all-British showdown with Eddie Hearn despite Fury's insistence that the fight be over.

The Gypsy King gave Joshua a self-imposed deadline last Monday to sign the final contract for their December 3 clash at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Hearn claimed that Joshua would sign on the dotted line once they ironed out some undisclosed points of contention and Monday would be too early to do so.

As the deadline passed, Fury said he would move on to another opponent, who has since been revealed to be unranked veteran heavyweight Mahmoud Charr.

But Warren still holds out hope for Fury against Joshua and does everything he can to get him through. Speaking to talkSPORT about the possibility of the fight and AJ's contract, he said: "I don't know. He was never going to be signed until five o'clock. That was the ultimatum that Tyson gave but we are waiting for him to come back.

"If he comes back, we can sort things out quickly. Hopefully maybe we can get him. Tyson kind of lost his patience. They've had him for ten days, and here we are. .

"I don't like deadlines. I don't like doing all this, but that's what Tyson said, so that's where we are. So, we have to keep working and see where we are."
