US job growth could slow to this level in June, here are Friday's top macro issues

The U.S. jobs report for June is scheduled for release at 8:30 a.m. ET. Analysts expect nonfarm payrolls to rise by 270,000 in June, compared with better-than-expected growth of 390,000 in May. The average hourly wage is expected to rise 0.3% on the month, compared to gains of 0.3% in May and April. However, the unemployment rate should remain unchanged at 3.6% in June. New York Fed President John Williams is scheduled to speak at 8:30 a.m. ET. Wholesale inventory data for May will be released at 10 a.m. ET. The second wholesale inventory estimate for May is an increase of 2%, unchanged from the first estimate. New York Fed President John Williams will speak at 11:00 a.m. ET. Baker Hughes' North American Platform Count report for the past week is scheduled for release at 1:00 p.m. AND. May consumer credit data will be released at 3:00 p.m. AND. Analysts expect consumer credit to rise $31.9 billion in May, compared to stronger-than-expected growth of $38.0 billion the previous month.
