Waffle House waitress is in tears after huge surprise tip

When Tanya Ragsdale of Cullman, Alabama, and her friends were randomly seated for their annual Friendsgiving party - this year at Waffle House - their waiter, Julia, had no idea what a surprise her new table was having. waiting up their sleeves.

Each of the 12 women brought $100 to the meal to tip the waiter in the spirit of giving season, bringing Julia to tears after being tipped $1,125.25 off a total bill from $74.75.

Ragsdale said the waitress told the women she had a one-year-old child at home whose birthday is also close, and that, combined with the approach of Christmas, made this time of the difficult year.

"When I tell you I have the best friends ever, it's just one of the million things they do that proves it," Ragsdale wrote in honor of his friends who contributed. "Thank you to my girlfriends. I love and cherish each one of you."
