West Indian bowler Roach joins Surrey

The 35-year-old was part of the team that won the competition for the past two seasons, taking 25 wickets in defending their title the last year. .

Roach has 396 wickets in 183 matches across all formats for his country.

He will join his Surrey teammates in time for their first match, against Lancashire in April.

"Everyone knows Surrey is my second home and I love coming to London to play on one of the best courses in the world .", he said.

"The club's ambitions in the red ball game are a big draw for me and I want to play my part in winning another County Championship trophy."

Roach took 73 wickets in total across three previous seasons with Surrey, with his latest stint due to end after the visit to Hampshire from May 24-27.
