'Westworld' Star Rodrigo Santoro Joins Sarah Michelle Gellar in Paramount+'s 'Wolf Pack' (EXCLUSIVE)

Rodrigo Santoro will star alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar in the upcoming Paramount+ original series "Wolf Pack", Variety may advertise exclusively.

The series is currently in production in Atlanta, Georgia, and is expected to premiere later this year. Previously announced cast members include Armani Jackson, Bella Shepard, Chloe Rose Robertson and Tyler Lawrence Gray. Joe Genier, Mike Elliott and Karen Gorodetzky are executive producers for Capital Arts, while Gellar, Jason Ensler and Christian Taylor are also executive producers.

Based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom and created by Jeff Davis, the show follows two teenagers whose lives are changed when a California wildfire awakens a supernatural creature.

"Wolf Pack", Santoro will portray Garrett Briggs, an Angeles ranger dedicated to protecting environment, and adoptive father of remarkable teenagers. According to a press release, Garrett is "a man of strong values" and "someone with dark secrets and deep suspicions, especially towards anyone who questions the relationship with his children who were found in the years earlier".

Santoro recently starred in ZDF Studios' "Boundless" and feature film "7 Prisoners", which won Best Foreign Language Film at the 2021 Venice Film Festival. He is best known for his role in HBO's "Westworld."

Davis, who also writes and produces Paramount+'s "Teen Wolf: The Movie," writes and directs production as part of its multi-year deal with MTV Entertainment Studios.

"Teen Wolf: The Movie" and "Wolf Pack" will be shown at New York Comic-Con, with Davis joining back-to-back conversations with the two actors to discuss upcoming projects. Panels are set for Friday, October 7 at 6 p.m. Additionally, Paramount+ will bring an immersive "Teen Wolf" photo experience to New York Comic-Con attendees.
